Students who obtained BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry and Biotechnology / Genetic Engineering / Biotehnology / Biochemistry / Molecular Biology / Genetics / Veterinary Science / Microbiology / Botany / Zoology / Agricultural Sciences / Fisheries or related subjects

Curriculum

Curriculum of MS Course in Biotechnology has been designed keeping in mind the objective of the course and after thorough revision of the syllabuses of the leading national and foreign Universities and considering the opinions of national pioneers and experts of Biotechnology. The course consists of 26.0 credits for 1 year. The outlines of the course are given below :

Examinations

MS in Biotechnology programme extends over a period of one year. The performance of a student is evaluated by continuous evaluation that comprises of class test, attendance, tutorial, assignment, etc. The final examination is held at the end of one year. Students must submit their selected thesis / project work within three months after completion of Theoretical and Practical examinations.

Financial Requirements

Fee structure of MS Course in Biotechnology at USTC is very competitive and the current financial requirements are as follows :

For External/Internal Bangladeshi students

Total amount of Taka twenty thousand only for internal (those graduated from USTC) students and Taka thirty thousand only for external (those graduated from other varsity/institution) students at the time of admission in the form of Bank Demand Draft in favour of `Janasheba Foundation’, The students have to pay tuition fee and other changes as per above table.
