With the aim of expanding quality education in Engineering & Technology and to expose the students to the latest development in the rapidly changing technological arena, USTC, the largest priVate University of Bangladesh, took an excellent initiative of establishing the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology. Former hon’ble Minister of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh lt. Gen. (Retd) Md. Nooruddin Khan was present as the chief guest in the inauguration ceremony. At present the Faculty is offering three undergraduate programmes viz BSc Engg in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), BSc Engg in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), BSc Engg in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE) and two postgraduate programmes viz Master in Information Technology (MIT) and Post-Graduate Diploma in Information Technology (PGDIT). The courses are governed according to the internal rules & regulations of the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology within the broad framework of the policies, statutes and guidelines of USTC.
